An EMS partner like MEC handles these stages for OEMs, so you don’t have to manage a separate vendor for each one.
An OEM designs and brands the product. An EMS provider builds it to the OEM’s design. An ODM goes a step further, designing and manufacturing a product that a brand can sell under its own name. MEC works in all three ways: building to your design, co-developing it with you, or white labelling one of our proven products.

Yes. With full turnkey, we source every component, then assemble, test and deliver. With consignment, you supply the parts and we handle assembly and testing. Partial turnkey is also available, where you provide some components and we source the rest.
No. We have no minimum order quantity, and many prototype orders come in single digits. From a handful of boards to full production runs, the same team handles your build, and your quote will show where unit costs come down as volumes grow.
It depends mostly on component availability, not assembly time. Long-lead parts can add weeks to a schedule, so we check your BOM before quoting and give you a realistic delivery date upfront.
For an accurate PCB assembly quote, send Gerber or ODB++ files, a BOM with manufacturer part numbers, pick-and-place (CPL) data and your target quantity. Test requirements and assembly notes help too.
Yes. Many founders come to us at the concept stage. Our engineers can help shape the specification, design the schematic and PCB layout, and build prototypes before you commit to production.
